A military aircraft is any fixed-wing or rotary-wing aircraft that is in the current employ of a Military Power. General Categories include:
Civilian airplanes are the planes you and I fly by. These could be jet aircraft (powered by jet engines), or propeller aircraft (powered by propellers). Civilian aircraft range from a one-seater (such as Cessna) to large wide-bodied aircraft such as A 380, the newest from the Airbus stable.
