Texas A & M University - The Real Estate Center is the nation's
largest publicly funded real estate research organization. The Center's
mission is conducting applied real estate related research and
disseminating the results and findings to real estate practitioners and
consumers.
- MIT Center for Real
Estate - The purpose of the MIT Center for Real Estate is to improve
the quality of the built environment and to promote more informed
professional practice in the real estate industry. It is the home of the
first one-year Master's degree program in real estate development and a
respected summer institute of professional development courses. Its
membership program provides opportunities for students, practitioners
and academics to get together on both a formal and an informal basis.

- Journal
of Real Estate Research - The Journal of Real Estate Research (JRER)
is the official publication of the American Real Estate Society (ARES).
The Journal's focus is to investigate and expand the frontiers of
knowledge that cover business decision-making applications through
scholarly real estate research. ARES has a special interest in research
that can be useful to the business decision maker in areas such as
development, finance, management, market analysis, marketing, and
valuation.
- Arizona Real Estate
Center - from Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus. the
primary objectives of ASU's Realty Studies have been to serve as a focal
point for research and educational projects of faculty members, both in
real estate and in allied disciplines throughout Arizona; to analyze and
evaluate the Arizona real estate market on behalf of private, public,
and governmental organizations; to conduct studies related to real
estate, and to publish the results of those studies; and to assist in
the development of real estate educational programs throughout Arizona
that will enhance the professionalism and knowledge of those involved in
the real estate industry.

Real Estate Review - a scholarly journal providing a conduit for
scholars, professional practitioners, and students to express ideas,
concepts and research findings from all fields related to the real
estate profession. The Review, unique as a student edited and managed
real estate journal, is similar to a Law Review as the student editorial
board referees and edits submissions from scholars and practitioners
worldwide. The Review focuses on the interdisciplinary nature of real
estate by blending both informative practical papers with application
based academic research across the breath of design, business,
economics, engineering, finance, law, planning, development, marketing

Council - one of the largest university-based network of real estate
professionals in the country, a sponsor of the Cornell Program in Real
Estate, and open by invitation only to real estate industry leaders. Now
entering its fourth decade, the CREC is dedicated to advancing real
estate education and outreach, and is the founding sponsor of the
Cornell Real Estate Review. Members, who span a range of fields within
the industry, also serve Cornell University as a source of expertise in
many areas of interest such as investment advice for endowment, planning
and property development, student housing, and more. Cornell Real Estate
Council members also play a vital part in ongoing real estate activities
through the invitation to participate in symposia, deliver lectures,
meet with students to offer industry perspectives and case studies, meet
with prospective real estate students, serve as a job network for summer
and permanent positions, and more. The Cornell Real Estate Council
started with a small group of alumni in the 1970s to over 1,000 present-day
members.

Center for Real Estate Studies, Indiana University - The Center
under director Jeffery D. Fisher helps to facilitate the research needs
of the real estate industry by exchanging information and expertise
between the university and industry. The Center strives to provide
top-quality educational opportunities that are relevant and integrative
of different functional areas and to increase professionalism in the
industry by disseminating current information. The Center is a catalyst
for providing interaction with our alumni and acts as an intermediary
for students pursuing a career in real estate.

Estate Club @ Kellogg School of Management - Real Estate Club - The
Real Estate Club was formed by students interested in pursuing various
aspects of the sector. The Club complements the Kellogg School's
curriculum by inviting practitioners to share their experience and
expertise in property development, finance, and management. The Club
also sponsors career seminars, which involve representatives of the real
estate profession.
- The Real
Estate Research Center in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
The Real Estate Research Center (RERC) is a long-standing component of
the Department of Real Estate. The Georgia Board of Regents approved its
creation in 1979 as an independent operating entity. The Director of the
RERC reports to the Chair of the Department of Real Estate. Since its
inception, the RERC has provided research and educational services to
the real estate industry in Atlanta and Georgia. It has performed
studies for local firms and trade organizations on selected
topics. It has provided educational programs for both private and
public sector clients. These projects have been supervised by the
Director of the RERC and have provided sufficient funds to complete the
projects and to fund the operating costs of the RERC.

conditions affecting housing, mortgage lending, construction and related
aspects of real estate in Northern and Southern California
- Real Estate
Academic Initiative @ Harvard University - The Real Estate Academic
Initiative at Harvard University is an interfaculty, interdisciplinary
effort to raise the profile of real estate research and education at
Harvard. Goals of the REAI include supporting new faculty research
agendas, expanding and coordinating real estate course offerings across
the University, and facilitating involvement of Harvard graduates active
in real estate and urban development.

Institute @ Louisiana State University - The Real Estate Research
Institute was formed to encourage, support, and conduct research in real
estate. The Louisiana Real Estate Research Institute was established in
1985 with funding from the College of Business Administration and the
Louisiana Real Estate Commission.

Real Estate Research @ University of Illinois @ Urbana Champaign -
The Office of Real Estate Research, which was created in 1980, has three
primary functions. First, it encourages research by UIUC faculty on
issues related to real estate. Second, it provides copies of previous papers
from its paper series and of the Illinois Real Estate Letter through its
final issue of the spring/summer 2002. Third, it promotes the ongoing
development of real estate education at UIUC.

- Cox : The Center for Research in Real Estate and Land Use Economics
- The Center was created in 1984 as an entity focusing on major issues
in the real estate industry. The Center sponsors a Conference
during the Fall and Spring Semester each dealing with a topic of current
interest to industry professionals and students. In addition, it
recognizes scholastic achievements of both Undergraduate and MBA
students by awarding scholarships based on merit. It also provides
workshops for students desiring to deepen their exposure to current
technologies used in the industry. The Center also acts as a
conduit for research which it conducts through the Costa Institute of
Real Estate Finance and the Folsom Institute for Development and Land
Use Policy.

Real Estate Club at the University of Washington (RECUW) is an interdisicplinary
student organization that serves the needs of current and future
students interested in real estate. The UWREC is a formally chartered University
of Washington organization. The organization is open to all students
with an interest in real estate careers, studies and issues. Membership
reflects the interdisciplinary nature of the UW Real Estate Program,
drawing students from Architecture, Business, Construction, Geography,
Law, Planning and Public Policy.

Ziman Center for Real Estate - Research - With real estate
representing such a large segment of economic activity on individual,
national, and global levels, the need for a comprehensive interdisciplinary
research strategy is of paramount importance. A chief component of the Ziman
Center’s mission is to support, fund, and disseminate research in real
estate that serves academic and practitioner communities. The
Center has programs that advance these objectives.

agency issues & (d) Securitization: real estate portfolios,

Estate Research @ Indiana University - the Center for Real Estate
Studies (CRES) was established to provide a comprehensive real estate
resource, serving as a vehicle for interaction between faculty,
students, alumni, recruits, professional organizations, and others with
an interest in real estate. Center activities are designed to build external
relationships through encouragement of interaction between university
faculty and real estate professionals

for Real Estate @ Wichita State University - The Center for Real
Estate strives to be the premier resource for data and analysis of real
estate markets throughout Wichita. Their real estate market database now
makes it easier than ever to track the activity in area real estate
markets. The site brings together historical market information compiled
from a variety of published sources, in addition to new data series
created by the WSU Center for Real Estate.
- The Center for
Real Estate Brokerage and Markets @ Cleveland State University -
Real Estate Research Center’s purpose is to act as a catalyst and focal
point for real estate research and education in all areas of real
estate. Its primary areas of focus are real estate finance, investment,
and valuation, with a special emphasis on real estate brokerage/agency
and markets. Real estate development is also included.
- The
South Carolina Real Estate Center's primary purpose is to enhance
professionalism in the real estate industry through applied research and
dissemination of information on real estate issues. The Center sponsors
research projects on those issues and disseminates the results through a
variety of means as a service to the real estate industry. Future plans
include specialized executive education courses and conferences on
topics of special interest to the real estate industry.
- Marylhurst
University - Research Databases for Real Estate Studies. Shoen
Library provides access to research databases, related internet
databases and relevant periodicals for the Real Estate Studies program.
- The
Center for Real Estate UNC Charlotte - Because of the major presence
and sophistication of the real estate and financial service industries
in Charlotte , there is a need for practical and academic research on
real estate topics of concern to the real estate community.
Additionally, there is a growing regional demand for employees with
graduate level education in real estate finance and development.
Specifically, highly-trained employees are needed for positions in
appraisal, brokerage, lending, consulting, market research, development,
financial analysis and capital markets. To meet these needs, UNC
Charlotte and the Charlotte real estate and financial services community
have endowed and established the Center for Real Estate at UNC Charlotte
which is part of the Belk College of Business.

Real Estate Center - The University of Colorado Real Estate Center
is a high-caliber academic real estate program for graduate and
undergraduate students attending the Leeds School of Business. With the
active participation of the CU Real Estate Council, the program offers
coursework, internships, networking and job placement assistance.
